Murray F. Brennan Research Award

The Murray F. Brennan Research Award is awarded by the KACF bi-annually to the former MSKCC research fellow who among all applicants presents the most promising project in sarcoma treatment research. The two-year grant is intended to stimulate new research initiatives and expand the KACF’s research funding beyond MSKCC to a broader range of institutions.
As part of the award, the institution receiving the grant presents a public symposium on sarcoma in order to encourage cross-pollination of ideas and knowledge in the field by bringing sarcoma experts, physicians, patients, and other interested parties from around the world to one place.
